Our very proud Jalur Gemilang waving over tears of our super cyclist at Track Cycling World Championships in Pruszkow, Poland, where Azizul has won 2nd place for men sprint and 11th in
keirin on 29 of march. He competes at the final with French cyclist Gregory Bauge before defeated 2:1 and left with silver medal. Azizul began to carve himself as a known Malaysian cyclist after he won 2 gold medals at Asian Track Championship in April 2008. Obviously die menjadi kebanggan seluruh Malaysia, selepas kejayaan yang di capai oleh datuk nicol dan juga datuk lee chong wei…hopefully after this our government will give more attention to the track cycling so that sukan ni akan buat banyak improvement seperti 
badminton, squash ataupun skuad memanah. owh not forget congratulation also kepada sumer track cycling team seperti Josiah Ng, mohd edrus Yunus, Rizal Tisin and others ...p/s: dengar-dengarnya Azizul antara favorite contestant untuk memenangi pingat emas dalam sukan olimpik London 2012
